Hi guys,
the subject of this painting is very simple: it is an allegory of the transition moment in which a kid loses his special vision of the world and he becomes a little man. When you are a baby everything seems magic, a frog can become a knight, a bowl can become a amazing helmet and all things in your house come to life. If only we could keep this special skill as adults...
Anyway, all characters in the picture are invented, only for the baby face I have used a photo reference: he is the son of a my colleague, she asked me to use his baby in a my piece and this subject seemed to be the perfect opportunity.
As usual it is made with Painter and my Wacom.
This piece was started for joke but the final result it seems not so bad... what do you think about?
